The boxspring bed is named after the unique construction of the frame, the boxspring. At first glance, you can’t tell the difference between a continental bed and a classic high bed. Both have a frame and legs. But that’s where the similarities end. With a classic high bed, you’ll also choose the mattress and the mattress. Due to the construction of the American bed, where the bottom part is filled with a spring system, there is no space left for storage. Therefore, always check whether the bed has springs in the bottom of the solid frame. If it doesn’t, or has storage space instead, it is not a true boxspring bed. Such a bed is essentially deprived of the most important part that has a significant impact on sleeping comfort.
